Many people are familiar with the excellent dinner options at Rioja in LoDo, but did you know they also make an excellent brunch on Saturday & Sunday? Brunch is one of my favorite meals, and Rioja offers amazing brunch options set within a dining atmosphere that feels intimate even when it’s mid-day. Weekend brunch is a great way to enjoy one of the noted foodie destinations in town. I suggest pairing it with a walk around the Larimer Square area shops or the LoDo area overall.
Brunch is served on Saturday & Sundays, from 10:00 am to 2:30pm. Take a look at the pictures below from my last brunch at Rioja and try not to drool as you wait for the weekend. Not pictured, but an absolute must-have for those that enjoy a drink with their brunch, is the “Sunday, Brandy Sunday”, which consists of cinnamon-infused brandy, coffee, Liquor 43, Frangelico, whipped cream, and black walnut.
Back in February, Jill also talked about the excellent Happy Hour at Rioja (read it here).
