What do you get when you combine the fast casual idea of Chipotle or Pizzeria Locale and Indian food? Biju’s Little Curry Shop. Located in RiNo, this small, yet funky restaurant, serves up incredibly flavorful and fresh bowls of goodness. The menu is small, but full of favorites such as Vindaloo and Curry. I got the Chicken Vindaloo, and of course, had to order the Chapati (Indian flatbread), because I love all bread things. Both the Vindaloo and Chapati were wildly delicious with balanced flavors and textures. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, we found out Biju’s is next door to Zephyr Brewing, so you can go grab a beer and then sit on the patio with your food.
The bartender at Zephyr was so kind that he let us taste a sample of each beer. I’m not much of a hoppy beer drinker, but I enjoyed every single beer I tried. The beers were well balanced and flavorful. I finally settled on a beer that was a combination of a Lavender Ale and Kombucha, which was oddly a great combination. I was so impressed with my experience at both places. Highly recommend them both!
