Olive and Finch reminds me of a European café in the best way. It’s so quaint and lovely. They are a bakery, eatery, and market, and also serve hot breakfast. It’s located on 17th, close to Downing, and has great inside or patio seating. In true café style, you order at the counter. I got the Milano Hash with a biscuit, which was one of the best breakfast items I’ve ever had. It has prosciutto, mushrooms, cheese, eggs, potatoes, and onions served in a hot skillet. The biscuit on the side was freshly baked, and perfectly flaky and buttery. I ate it with the fresh raspberry jam on our table. My friend ordered the Sonoma, breakfast burrito style, with a side of fruit, which she was very pleased with also. We enjoyed an early Sunday brunch, complete with mimosas and great conversation. I am getting a craving for that Milano Hash, so I’m sure I’ll be back soon. They also have some great sounding sandwiches and freshly made desserts. So many things to try!
