Our last stop of the night in Boulder was Reuben’s Burger Bistro, which had been recommended to me by a friend who lives in Boulder. I was blown away by how many wonderful beers they have on tap! Their beer list is extensive, and their drafts include Belgian beers such as Leffe Blonde, Tripel Karmeliet, Gulden Draak, Delerium Tremens, as well as many of the best from Colorado. They have 42 taps!
They have an impressive list of bottled beer, including Trappist beers such as La Trappe, Chimay, and Westmalle. The prices are completely reasonable, and they even have Daily Beer Specials.
It has a sports bar feel to it, and there are large TV’s everywhere. They also have unique and fun burgers, which other people we were with ordered and enjoyed, but I was too full from our night of cocktail & appetizer hopping (and distracted by the beer) to try them.
Speaking from someone who has had the joy of drinking Belgian beer in Brussels and Brugge, I am so glad I found a great, laid-back place in Colorado that has these wonderful beers on tap! If I lived in Boulder, I would be at Reuben’s all the time.
