Gaia Bistro is one of my good friend’s favorite place for brunch, so of course, I had to go check it out. It’s a little house on South Pearl, close to Stella’s, and such a cozy environment. It’s similar to Kaos Pizzeria, if you’ve ever been there, offering table seating in various rooms in the house and a fabulous patio area in an open garden setting. We went on a sunny day, and the natural light was shining through the windows. They have egg dishes, benedicts, crepes, sandwiches, and soups. I ordered the Prosciutto, mushroom, and brie crepe, one friend ordered the Roasted tomato, poblano, and red onion with basil pesto and goat cheese (added bacon), and another friend ordered the House Pulled Pork benedict on ciabatta, with green chili sauce and goat cheese. Everything was served with fresh mixed greens on the side. We were all very pleased with our meals, although I think the Benedict won. Everything was filling, healthy, and delicious! Afterwards, we wandered around South Pearl, walking into some fun boutiques and shops along the way. Recommend this restaurant in the summertime, or on a nice, sunny day. Looking forward to sitting on that great patio next time I go.
