Important news for Denver Foodies to be aware of this week:
- The eagerly awaited Torchys Tacos officially opens their first Denver location to the general public tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd! Torchys is located at the corner of 11th & Broadway (1085 N. BROADWAY ST. DENVER, CO 80203). See location menu here.
- The annual Denver Restaurant Week event menus are now posted! This means you are now able to confirm which venues will be participating in the February 26th-March 6th event. For those unfamiliar with this event, participating restaurants offer special limited menu, multi-course offerings for just $30 per person. Reservations during this 1.5 week period go quickly, especially for coveted weekend spots, so I recommend you take a look now and book early. I have noticed that not all restaurants have their menu fully loaded yet, but it is still a good idea to book early and release your booking once the menu is posted if you don’t like the offering. For one of my Restaurant Week reservations at a smaller venue, where the cost is normally $60+ per person, I was required to provide a credit card as a guarantee against a last minute cancellation.
