Ever get that sugar craving that you just can’t shake? Next time that happens, head to Sugarmill. It’s located in RiNo, in between Americatus and Los Chingones. It’s Troy Guard’s dessert spot (chef of Tag, Guard and Grace, Los Chingones, Bubu, etc.), and it does not disappoint. When you walk in, you’re greeted with a display case of amazing-looking desserts. I immediately noticed that inside felt sleek, modern, and inviting.
We shared several yummy macarons (always the right choice), and split the Donut Sundae & Creme Brulee. The Donut Sundae was covered in caramel and nuts, and the donut was wonderfully fresh. The Creme Brûlée was everything you want it to be—custardy, with a delicate flavor and caramelized top. We were surprised that it didn’t come in a ramekin! Highly recommend you go. And when you do, may I suggest ordering a glass of Prosecco to go with your perfect dessert.
